I’ve having problems with my studio equipments, the flash is spoilt, have not been able to launch a new collection :( Just tried it again, and it’s still not working. ZzzZz.

I gave up and just took a photo with the ring light, so at least my makeup won’t go to a waste.

I’ve to get the flash repaired soon. So i can resume the collections!

Will be flying off in 2 days’ time to Dubai/Turkey. Somehow I dread leaving SG. I cannot imagine how can I survive if I can’t find internet access for 12 days. Wish me luck please.

Silly me brought my camera out without a SD card in it. Luckily brought my polaroid cam along… managed to take a few polaroids.

DAY 1

Departed from Changi airport… to Haneda airport. A 6 hours flight, we flew by ANA.

DAY 2

Transit at Haneda airport, and take a domestic flight to New Chitose airport.

Transit interval was a little way too short. We had to rush a little, we got abit lost at airport. There weren’t any proper signs to guide us to transit, we ended up at the International Connecting Flight terminal when we were supposed to go thru the customs, check-in at the domestic flight counter and then head to the domestic terminal via shuttle bus service. After much effort, we finally made it to the domestic terminal. There wasn’t sufficient time for us to have any proper meal at the airport, we could only grab some small bites along the way.

Found onigiri at one of the shops. Of all the flavours, I chose 梅 (plum), which was a disastrous choice, because it so sour that it tasted a little awful.

Onboard… to New Chitose Airport. 1hr flight.

Arrived at New Chitose Airport, and we took the Airport Express train to Sapporo. We stayed in Mitsui Gardens Hotel, Sapporo for 5 nights. Our hotel was convenient located near Sapporo station, which was also a shopping district.

Our first meal in Hokkaido… Yakiniku rice. Yummy.

We went to Loft, one of my favourite shopping chains in Japan. Found Rilakkuma there… almost wanted to buy, but the one I wanted was sold out, only left Korilakkuma in the lying position :(

Next up on the itinerary was Asahi Beer Factory. We took a train there.

Back to Sapporo station, and had our dinner at Watami, near the hotel.

DAY 3

Woke up mad early ＼(o￣∇￣o)/. I had problem adapting to sleeping in the night. Tried to sleep at 11+pm, but my body detects as a nap, woke up at 1am, thinking that it’s already 8am. Saw the clock, 1.37am, I cringed. Woke up at 2.01am, 3.01am and subsequently at 4am, I gave up. Turn on my ipad and watched the latest episode of Material Queen till 5am. I started dolling myself up, by the time the boy woke up, I was almost done. And this happened for the rest of the days. Crazy I know, but there’s nothing I could do about it, but on a happier note, I had no issues of dragging myself out of bed AT ALL!

We rented a Toyato Wish for the rest of the days. For convenience sake and in a way a cheaper mode of transportation. 5 days for 53,000yen (not inclusive of petrol, toll fees and parking charges).

First stop for the day was Otaru City, where we had our breakfast.

I ordered salmon and nama hotate with rice.

The boy had cooked crabmeat with rice, because he doesn’t like sashimi apart from salmon.

After breakfast, we drove straight to Nikka Whisky museum.

Next up is one of my favourite itinerary in the entire trip… Niki Town, fruit orchard.

The boy found Dragon Ball can drinks at the vending machine at the tourist information building and insisted on trying his luck again and again to get a particular character, but still failed after 3 tries. He gave up and these are the 3 that he got.

Lovely fruit trees at the glass house totally made our day even though we went round and round looking for the right plantation, only to realised the whole place is called Niki Town.

The air was so refreshing and scenery was just breathtaking.

After trying our luck at one plantation after another. We finally made it to a Grape orchard! We paid 700yen per person, we could cut and eat all we could, but we are not allowed to bring them back.

Grapevines. Such a pleasant experience. But it was a pity cus it was raining, thus the field was a bit muddy, dampening our mood a little, or at least mine. I couldn’t really enjoy it to the fullest, I was a bit affected by the rain and the mess. So I probably had less than half a brunch of grapes. Okay, I admit I was busy taking photos too.

Headed back to Otaru City and had about 2 hours to walk and shop around.

The boy and I tried this custard puff, and it was soooo good, the custard was thick and creamy, oozed out when we took our first bite.

Infamous Hokkaido crabs and melons…

Dar and I bought the giant Taco Pachi, about the size of 3-4 normal size ones (approx. SGD7 for 1). Nom nom.

Headed back to Sapporo for dinner feast…

Every meal was fulfilling to the max <3 I gained 3 kgs from the entire trip *faints*. I am now on a salad diet. So dear friends, please do me a big favour by not asking me out on a meal date, till I shed 3 kgs.

It’s the most recommended dish. But the crabmeat sauce is abit too salty. Otherwise, it’s quite good. The portion is quite big, enough for 2 girls.

Quite a fulfilling meal. It was better than what I expected, since there was no queue at all.

If you realised, it’s quite frequent that have my hand at the side when I camwhore. That’s because if I don’t do that, my fringe will just fall all over, covering half my face :(

Oh yes, I am quite satisfied with my current contact lens, not as big as my previous one, but I think it’s the ideal size. Went shopping with the boy in town, but my eyes was in extreme discomfort. I reckoned something went wrong with my lens, so I had to buy one for immediate replacement. Walked round far east and found only 1 optical shop. I went in and ask the salesman what is their biggest big eye contact lens, and he recommended me this brand call “Cool Look” I think. Bought a pink colour pair and have been wearing since then :)

Anyway, just launched a new collection on LGS yesterday…

I know it’s ironic to launch I♥TW Collection III just a day before SG’s birthday, but it’s part of a series of Taiwan exclusive collections. I admit I do ♥Taiwan a lot but it doesn’t mean I don’t ♥SG.
